What are off-season events?
Traditionally, from about May to October each year, wedding vendors, churches, and banquet halls are busy with weddings. This is a given. For clients, this means that if you're starting to plan less than twelve months before the big day, you're going to have a tough time finding good vendors and locations for your events, that aren't already booked.
Solution? Have an Off-Season Event! (i.e. Wedding, Quinceañera, Sweet 16, Birthday, Anniversary, Party and etc.)
When
Off-season is the time of year when events are traditionally less popular, and vendors have more availability to offer:
• January thru the end of March
However, there are some exceptions...
• Valentine's Day (Week or Weekend) (Feb. 14)
• St. Patrick's Day (Week or Weekend) (March 17)
Savings
Some vendors (depending on their availability and type of service) will even give special rates for off-season event dates. DJExplosionSD, a successful and prominent DJ company in Southern California, have been giving such discount rates for over 20 years to their clients.
